Very helpfull!! I worked as a nanny for 6 yrs. before I had my son (16 months old). Last year my husband was transfered to another city where we knew no one, so we decided that I would stay home with our son. I also babysit 2 children in my home, about 20 hours a week. I have often thought about opening my own daycare center. Your site has given me alot to think about.

This is a wonderful site. I am 24 years old and I am interested in starting my own child care facility. I live in Baltimore,Maryland. I just recently completed a business plan for another business I wanted to operate but the thought of not having a lot of time to spend with my 9month old has made me reconsider and think about opening my own day care facility. Hi Sheri, great work, I like your site - I like people who are doing something usefull for others. I don't have kids (yet) and live too far from you (my husband is from Texas) so pity I will not be able to use your service. I was raised by babysitters and aunts etc. and I hated it.
